But he didn’t like the non-talking scenes in Pluribus, so clearly a man of contrasts.

Brave words about morality from a country that steals everything from land, resources, washing machines, to lives. I don’t think I’ll be lectured by these people.

Oi, it’s supposed to be a romance novel, not a documentary.

Do it like a greyhound race except instead of chasing a rabbit it’s a guy in a pink shirt and loafers taunting them with a sandwich.

Come on Tom, don’t undersell yourself.

I guess the Courts would say qualified immunity because there’s no case law for pepper spraying a baby. If there’s, probably a different day of the week.

Well that’s because I watched it before you told me to - to be fair.

Also, while a reasonably big house, for 8 bedrooms it’s not excessive. Assuming two parents and seven kids it’s actually going to feel pretty cramped.

Watched a few episodes and gave up other than dipping in and out every now and then to see if anything actually advanced the story.

Murderbot, which we really enjoyed, wasn’t even remotely a mystery box. I’m not even convinced that Pluribus totally matches that genre. I mean Lost - seasons in they were still just making shit up and seemed to be dropping old critical plot lines.

True, there was that one guy in Wyoming…

Although come to think of it he might have been the Homesteader on Longmire.

If Rivera was beside or behind Baker and the suspect was in the building, how did Baker shoot Rivera in the back? Add that Baker took off without calling in the shooting or giving first aid. Very hinky. Yet the PD blamed the motorist.

It doesn’t make any sense though. From the AP News version (which Fox doesn’t mention)

“Rivera and Baker… had conducted a traffic stop on a motorist suspected of having a gun. … Baker was positioned in front of the door, and Rivera was to the side or behind him. 1/2

True story. An American tourist in Paris came up to me and said. My wife and I think you’re really a lot like Liam Neeson. My wife nearly choked on her tongue. Meh. I don’t see it myself, but I’ll take it. Winds her up nicely anyway.

Between your stressed air traffic control and liking too many of your and @gregdoucette.bsky.social posts (guillotines!), I’ve given up any thought of even transiting the US. Shame. There are still places I wanted to go and people to meet.
