Last week I spent 5 days in the Kingdom of Fife and took many images which I hope to share soon.

Here is a panoramic view of St Andrews which I took during the "Blue Hour" .

I'm really pleased at how it came out.

A panormic view of St Andrews from ontop of the harbour wall.
Shot during the "Blue Hour", this image has a cool hue to it.

The harbour wall leads the eye to the centre of the image where the ruins of St Andrews Cathedral can be seen.

To the left of the Cathedral can be found the modern buildings lining the harbourside, the warm glow from their lights contrasting against the cool blues of the scene.

The right of the image is where St Andrews Castle is located.

A long exposure has smoothed out the water which is in contrast to the textured clouds, which frames the top of the image

Aberdeen Beach at sunrise can be cold but its worthwhile suffering the low temperatures when the sky ignites like this.

Rum At Sunset

I loved the colour contrast in this scene so just had to shoot it.
Those warm hues clashing with the cold blues as the day diminished was stunning to witness.

But,since it was an especially high tide yesterday due to todays #autumnalequinox ,I took a trip to the coast.

The "De'il's Heid" on the Arbroath coast.
Waves crashing upon the rocks are smoothed out by a 1 minute long exposure which has also blurred the clouds.

Rattray Head Lighthouse just before sunset.
I loved the colour and form of the clouds and couldn't resist shooting this scene even though I was packed up and heading off to my car.

The sea is smooth and still.
