IQ 45 has now threatened to send troops to Chicago. I remember when he tried to have a campaign rally here. It did not go well for him. This statement if from my Illinois state representative.

What can he possibly be thinking? It just seems cruelty is his agenda and it doesn't matter to whom it's directed.

Outside of the Governor's mansion in Illinois today. ICE Barbie was supposed to be there to berate us for our sanctuary status. But, due to protesters, she chose elsewhere. Our Sec of State slowed up instead to encourage protesters and to reiterate that Illinois stands strong against Trump policies.

A snowy morning in Chicago. The older I get, the less I like it. But it's a temporary inconvenience. Nothing like what LA is experiencing. My heart breaks for that wonderful city and for California. When are we going to take climate change seriously?

Sunrise near Effingham IL on our way home from Arkansas Thanksgiving last year. Will be headed back there tomorrow. Wonder if there will be a different vibe this time. Fortunately, family that will be gathering on Thursday are mourning this election just like we are.
