Hello again, I have a new piece for my Black Magic M-66 collection! This is a Betamax copy of the film I wasn't even aware existed! At a glance the exterior of the tape case is basically identical to the Japanese VHS release except for the logo on the bottom of the spine! #BlackMagicM66 #Betamax
"Physical media is forever, buy Betamax!" The Japanese VHS and Betamax case are exactly the same, the only notable difference between the two is the logo on the spine. So at a glance it wouldn't be obvious that the Betamax isn't the way more common VHS release.

I collect items from a lesser known work from Masamune Shirow (creator of Ghost in the Shell); Black Magic, and more specifically the OVA Black Magic M-66.

In my search I've acquired many pieces of media relating to both the OVA and original Manga; here's a small selection
Cassette tape of the OVA OST. This tape is the only one I have ever seen online or otherwise. Rare resin kit of the F6 M-66 android; Unsure if it is official as it is not by B-Club who did make a few official resin kits for the M-66 OVA. So far I have documented 5 unique resin kits of the Android. Painted animations Cels used in the OVA, these are a set I won in an auction overseas.
