Extremely territorial and possessive of their Trainers, the male Hooliduck have sharp rocky burrs that exude a paralytic poison with which they use to fend off potential predators. Female Hooliduck are even more territorial and build stony armor about their body so they can protect their eggs while roosting.

While these Genmon look cute, they are not native to Hayle and have proven a threat to local watering holes, rivers, and lakes. Their native Region is far more dangerous, giving them a rugged and far more aggressive personality than their looks suggest.

As social hunters, when a colony of Cindershriek congregates they can increase the ambient temperature of their surroundings by up to 20 degrees. Genmon Rangers are known to use mobile speakers to break apart these colonies to prevent forest fires in dry seasons.

Cindersqueak’s echolocation is so powerful it can even sense variations of temperature. They congregate around large fires and use the difference in body temperature of their prey to perform a near 100% catch rate.

This Genmon is said to have migrated into human habitation to feed off the copious bugs and insects that lawns and housing often attract. Shy creatures, many believe they started as carved stone frogs and were then given life by the powers of nature. This is perhaps because in their idle time, they prefer to remain motionless like the stone and metal they resemble.

As We Cling Together's system for characters has two choices for players to mix and match. Players pick a Job and a Calling. The Calling provides narrative rigging and mechanics to focus on those while Jobs focus on stats and how the character interacts with Day and Night.

When a Porcumite grows large enough they travel beneath the loose soil they once called home to dwell in caverns and caves. They have exceptionally strong claws that let them hang on cavern ceilings, though if shocked they might fall. Their spines are especially sharp and dangerous, accumulations of minerals having coated them in a metallic sheen.

Also called Earth Pig and Prickly Pig, Porcumite are small and shy creatures that enjoy rooting around in loose soil which is said to protect them from the harsh sun and dry weather. Walking barefoot on the trails of Hayle can often be dangerous.While Porcumite quills are not lethal, they are still sharp enough to cause harm.

Splounder are a main food source for many Genmon and without this predation the waterways of Hayle would be overrun with them due to their mating habits. Many Trainers from the coast of Hayle have Splounder as their first Genmon due to their abundance.

The evolved form of Spoul, the Mummantula spends most of its time knitting ghostly thread to cover itself in. These threads are as hard as iron, and many in Hayle cultivate these threads like one would cultivate worms for silk.

Spoul’s venom affects the minds of its victims, making them more susceptible to coercion as if they were hypnotized. It uses those Genmon that it bites to steal human food, rather than prey on them specifically.

It's apparently GenCon and it's a bummer we didn't get to go and show off A Monster's Tail so here's Swambore. I hear she's about to evolve! Maybe with a few shares and likes she'll get the energy.

Swambore enjoy a sedentary lifestyle and wallow in mud to keep bug Genmon from biting them while they rest. When provoked, a Swambore’s otherwise idle personality flips like a switch and they will pursue those that annoy or threaten them for miles.
