Silent Hill f...pretty disappointing if I'm being honest. I think r07 did create a great narrative but when he passed off the story to the developers they had no idea how to translate it well enough to warrant the amount of playthroughs you need to get the real story.

At long last my Higurashi is over. Really glad I was able to pick it up again after bouncing from it years ago. Had a blast reading it, the first half was extremely effective setting up the stage and the second half really re-contextualizes everything that came before it

It's looking like I won't be able to finish Higurashi before SHf but higu is just kinda crazy so it's not all bad. I don't think SHf will reach these heights but still pretty reassuring the first mainline SH game is in R07's hands

ehhh that trailer did not move me. What they showed is obv just the first episode but just from that it’s just not doing the manga any justice. I’m not seeing anything encouraging prob just wanna move onto uu and ff

No Sleep for Kaname Date was a pretty fun spin off and maybe low key more enjoyable than the second game. Certainly not a roller coaster story like the main games but the escape rooms were a nice addition to the series and having the original duo back together is a great time

Got the 100% completion for Silksong. Fantastic game, as someone who was just a casual fan of HK, Silksong brought a lot more than I was expecting and was definitely worth the wait. A few annoying things but nothing to really weigh down the experience. Really hope there's some DLC in the future.

Played Zelda echoes of wisdom when I got my switch 2 and it was one of the worst games I played. I was worried Nintendo had lost it but luckily Donkey Kong Bananza brought them back. Hopefully they make another platformer tho

Picked up the new Rune Factory for my first Switch 2 game and had a lot of fun. Definitely gained a new fan of the series

this game can grow into one of the best gaming trilogies for me.
I'm saving my hard mode replay for another time but I know when I get to it it's going to take the game to a whole new level.
