Navajo Code Talkers were instrumental in turning the tide of World War II. Trump's ongoing attack on DEI has led to the scrubbing of all mentions of these brave soldiers.

To the Marine Corps, the soldiers were crucial to operations in the Pacific Theater.

One of most famous pictures from World War II was taken on the island of Iwo Jima. Pima member Ira Hayes was among the brave soldiers who raised the American flag. Our current adminstration's attack on all things DEI has directly impacted our history.

Black History Month is now. It began as Negro History Week all the way back in 1926.

Black educators and students at Kent State University first proposed Black History Month in February 1969 with the first first celebration of Black History Month taking place at Kent State a year later in 1970.
