Used Claude plan mode for the first time, some thoughts

1. instantly 10x cost of everything
2. nothing that couldn’t be done in my head, and probably quicker (watching Claude is boring)
3. thinking is the fun bit, the entire process feels completely soulless

Not my cup of tea.

Flying. 2 things. 1. Overhead cabin bags should be banned, so much drama. 2. Why is it that half of people on board seem to be completely new to flying “oh I’m on an exit row I have to keep the floor clear?”

Watching two restaurant staff mind a table delivery robot through slightly wonky floor is peak 2025. What the fuck is happening to the world, this is not progress.

This bullshit is infuriating. Your email is spam, to “opt out” I will move it to the spam folder where it belongs. Don’t cold email me.

“pacifiers for adults” is such a great description (for vapes). Very cool project: bogdanthegeek.github.io/blog/project...

Generally avoid politics because internet but this photo of the London met arresting an 80yr old lady for peaceful protest sums up what a total catastrophe this country has become. Disgrace. www.reddit.com/r/pics/s/POa...

Shocking (yet not surprising) that companies are allowed to torrent anything for AI training but dare we peasants do the same.

The lack of a “start this episode again” when resuming an episode at the end in Disney plus is nothing but infuriating. You have to open the previous episode, forward to the end and acces it that way. Absurd UX.

That moment when linear reloads the page, without maintaining state, after you spent ages selecting a few issues from hundreds. Thanks, I guess I’ll do it all again.

Unless it’s on your own hardware you own nothing. I will always extract anything worth keeping. Extra punch in the face from Spotify because they don’t let you edit metadata for local files.

Really interesting article+HN thread on re-promoting LLMs to get better output. The biggest optimisations seem to be missed because they’re in a review, not create, mode of thinking. IMO this is why writing code with LLMs is both ineffective and boring AF. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=42584…
