Yep, a dog as loyal as that is rare to find. No other dog we had or have came even close to that one. He was a german shepherd named Sully.

He even dug a hole where he could see the road, and never moved from there, waiting for us unmoving. His passing was hard for my brother.

My brother used to have a dog like that. My brother's shirts were full of holes at the sides because the dog bit them to not let him leave to the store, once we went three days ahead of our family on vacation and the dog went ballistic.
