Have you ever met the 3P’s? Past mistakes. Past pain. Past failures. We all have them. (Some of us have them on speed dial.) 😄 But here’s the truth: the past is not a place to live in; it’s a place to learn from.

Do you feel as if your best years have passed you by? Hogwash! You’ll do your best work in heaven. Do you regret wasting seasons of life on foolish pursuits? So do I. But we can stop our laments. We have an eternity to make up for lost time.

After a meaningful three-day engagement in Cotabato, the team and I returned yesterday, wrapped up another session last night, and are now fully geared up for an exciting two-day leadership training here in Cebu.

You don’t have to be the smartest person in the room. There will always be others who are smarter, more intelligent, and more educated. It's okay. You don't have to be all that. #PassionPurposeProductivity

Quiet does not mean clueless. Some people stay quiet not because they lack insight, but because they’re busy observing, learning, and thinking deeper than most realize. Those who truly understand don’t feel the need to impress.

People talking behind your back? Bad-mouthing you or even spreading lies? And it's making you angry, right? Of course, but Chill! Your worth isn’t determined by their noise. And please don’t play their game. That’s how you lose the high ground (and your peace).

Kicking off the year with my first school talk this morning with the students of Jubilee Christian Academy. What a wonderful experience interacting with Gen Alpha. They’re sharp, curious, and refreshingly honest. You don’t just speak to them, you have to speak with them. 😊 Thank you for having me.

Respect matters even if you’re articulate, you speak fast, and you sound brilliant. If respect is missing, it’s not a conversation. It’s verbal aggression with good vocabulary.

Be patient with young people when they stumble. They need your wisdom, not your frustration. Remember, when you were young, you fumbled a lot, too.

SUNDAY MEDITATION:
How do you handle your tough times? When you’re tired of trying, tired of forgiving, tired of hard weeks or hard-headed people, how do you manage your dark days? With a bottle of pills? Alcohol? A day at the spa?

Around 500 people at the Lean and Green Conference. My first engagement for the year—and what a meaningful way to begin. Grateful for the opportunity to share, learn, and be part of conversations that matter.

A good, effective leader makes people feel safe and brings out the best in them. A not-so-effective boss makes people anxious. And it’s not always because they’re a bad person. Most of the time, it simply comes down to a lack of leadership training. Leadership is a skill you develop.

Scott Galloway says, "I wasn’t financially illiterate; I had an MBA and ran companies. I just wasn’t financially disciplined. Turns out, this is common. A study in the UK found that lack of self-control, more than lack of financial literacy, explains why people fall into debt.

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Just don’t keep making the same ones. New mistakes are data, lessons that sharpen judgment. Repeating the same mistake? That’s not “personality." That’s a subscription.

This year, I’m choosing to be an intentional steward of God’s provisions and resources. Because the opportunity to earn more and create wealth means little if we ignore fiscal prudence. Stewardship isn’t a restriction. It’s wisdom. #PassionPurposeProductivity
