I think the games industry would be in a much better place if it was more focused.
The vast majority of people don't ever complete these massive games. There are few open worlds that are engaging enough for me to want to spend time exploring outside of the main story.

I'm still smarting from being told, in my TDF days, that there was no space at a screening only to read the next day that there were a dozen Empire journalists there having a jolly.
Independent publications were and are the future of journalism and should be nurtured, not excluded.
