One of the best parts of Arcane is that the characters are compelling rather than simply likeable so I guess my real complaint is that Vi is less compelling than the rest.

Reading and listening are two completely different skill sets for experiencing, understanding, and interpreting. There is nothing wrong with someone listening to a book. Refusing to acknowledge all this reinforces that which you are seemingly opposed to: ‘reading is superior to listening.’ It isn’t.
