rudo rejects this idea, he says "humans can't become a god" and says "he'll become the something he is as well"
all the while saying "he can't not be human"

and that makes this transformation make sense. he's literally able to break down the barrier between how he views the object and himself. causing this furry transformation lmfao

thematically, rudos power acts less literally and more of a "breaking down" of barriers that ... idk define things... literally and metaphorically.

a major aspect of the story is about how these groups assume what the other group is thinking and feeling based on location, with a LITERAL barrier every time.
think at like, the introduction to rudo liking trash, the city/slum, the sphere/ground, etc etc
