I think that just like with visual artwork, writing is a skill you've gotta cultivate a bit. You probably created the equivalent of a drawing from a new artist and it needs some refinement. Definitely don't feel dumb or discouraged by it, nobody started off awesome at it. Stay tuff, you got this

That's really well-put, you're like a lil' word-artist over here, glad I happened to spot your post. It can feel weirdly isolating too, since I feel like fluffy types trend a little younger. But that makes it more refreshing when someone posts stuff I resonate with, haha

Haha, felt that, especially as a dude that's been doing the furry thing for a long time. Stuff changes, but you see younger dudes struggling through the same stuff you did and it's interesting to see the cycle. That said I'm just gonna keep acting like I'm 20 FOREVER
