Historically, the task of defending Tempelhof would have fallen to the men of F Company, 40th Armor Regiment "The Turner Tankers". Their motto was "By Force & Valor" and we'll be sharing more of their fascinating Cold War history as we get closer to Salute.

We've teamed up with the show's organisers to create "By Force & Valor" - the official Salute 53 Digital Miniature (available to download via a QR code in the show guide attendees will receive on the day) featuring two US Army tank crewmen bailing out of a stricken M60 as the NVA assault rolls in.

We actually added a third table so it was a bit bigger - probably around 8x5ish? I do agree that 28s can feel a bit pushed for space on a 6x4 but denser terrain tends to help a lot
