Record of Lodoss war is peak fantasy anime by every metric. It's actually tragic that it got localized so early on because I feel it would have been so much more popular as a release now than back in the mid-90s

The Tural section is largely FF11 fan service. Galuul JaJa and the leader of the Giants among other characters you meet are all NPC characters or notorious monster encounters from FF11.

They should have made Alexandria the raid content and just had us fight the Zilart trying to invade our world

The first game I have any memory of playing was Mike Tysons Punch Out on my Dads NES. I had to have been incredibly young at the time because a lot of the details are hazy, but I remember it being on the old wood box TV in the living room and being mesmorized by this interactive media.
