Happy Birthday to Shirabe Tsukuyomi!

Still one of my favorite Symphogear girls and anime characters. Had a rough first impression to start in G, but her growth throughout the franchise was great. Plus had one of the most fun gears

I was hopeful that it'd be good. But I didn't expect it to be great!

XV kind of needed to fix the ending. Both with Carol and Hibiki's father.

But I do still really like GX. It had great moments, huge threats for the main cast to tackle, and the most direct struggle Hibiki had to reach out to someone.

Middle of the pack season, but excellent.

On the downside latter half did get repetive.

On the downside latter half did get repetitive. In the finale they got involved trying to save Carol. But they only saved her physically. And that only really seemed to serve saving Elfnein.

Ignite was also a great addition. It just looks cool and also was a solid addition after a couple seasons of status quo.

And the Autoscorers were a great group of enemies. They were allowed to dominate since the plan needed them to keep the main cast alive.

On the positive Carol is easily my favourite antagonist. Best overall plan and needs a few unexpected hiccups to trip her up.

Plus I honestly love her side goal of sticking it to Hibiki and refusing to be saved. Her suicide move mid-season and then happily falling to her doom!

Rewatch of Symphogear GX is complete.

This season is such an interesting one for me. It has absurd highs and some definite rough patches.

Opening scene is still the best thing in the series! Goes from that to the main cast getting overwhelmed and struggling to adapt.

Got to this point in the Symphogear G rewatch again.

This is the moment that really locked Chris in as one of my favourite characters period. The song is great, she's gorgeous, but it defines her character.

A lonely girl that wants to belong, doubts that she deserves to, and yet she sings

I love that stone cold expression when Ehre called her attack as not having a shred of character.

I've got to say that one thing that hits home while reading the Tearmoon Empire light novels is how Mia Luna Tearmoon proves one thing.

Selfishness is not in itself bad. Her desire to live isn't a bad thing. And the way she goes about it provides benefits to people around her too.

I'm both nervous and beyond excited for the future of Symphogear.

A movie should be downright amazing. This franchise goes all out for everything. Fights, music, transformations, etc. That should be crazy.

NEXT has me curious. They could do a lot with the franchise if they want to.
