It’s been a while since any update on the Ramchargers Challenger- no time to work on the build, but resumed this weekend. Tried the dehydrator method to cure the enamel top coat, and have to say I’m impressed. Left it overnight @95 F and was perfectly cured and very glossy in the morning!

The Ramchargers Challenger is all primed and ready to start. Not a lot of parts here, so “detailing up”will be key. Also dechromed the shiney bits (wheels, blower parts for the engine) to make it a bit more realistic 🤞

The bench is clear…now for my next build. Not a tremendous amount of detail in the kit, but nice molds and a good foundation to “detail-up”. Looking forward to this one- a hero of my youth!

Finally finished the Tamiya Honda RA 272. Focused on detailing the engine which took most of the time. The “road dirt”was fun.
