The local park has a lot of ground squirrels that seem to drive him nuts as they run into their holes. After the city covers over an area, he is OK until they break out again. Aussie cattle dog and Chi are the two main breeds.

Just wanted you to know that, "A place too wide for echos, where even time slows to listen. It stretches out like a held breath, waiting to be let go" has stayed with me since reading it. Brilliant and touching.
