It's been a wild week at Prime Hook NWR. Winter residents are increasingly active and more visible with warmer days and few obstacles to viewing. Bald Eagles are very active and should begin mating soon. The Eastern Screech Owl basks in the sun most days. My favorite GBH. And a very hungry Pileated.
