What could possibly go wrong... Most of these kids probably understand the technology better than their parents and how to use it. Especially at a time where these kids feel entitled to it and it's tied to their identity building.

So I think there is a lot of value in local efforts that can grow. In finding and rallying the people that want things to change and build momentum.

I don't think people in denial are "worth" a lot of effort here. Denial is powerful and hard to be nudged out of.

Back to the WWII French example, only 2% of the population was engaged in active resistance and 6% in active collaboration with the Nazis. That means 92% were passive. 92%.

At the same time many people cite 3.5% of a population to create a critical mass for change to happen.

Sadly this is isn't dissimilar in reaction as during Nazi occupation. People didn't realize or when in denial of what was happening. "Won't happen to me". Or "can't be that bad".

It's also exactly the same with natural hazards.

There is something to learn about human cognition there...

Ha, the level of details is a few orders of magnitude different! And the amount of literature review and background search also is. I kinda miss digging that deep at times.

I gave up on google search, it has become unusable. Started using Kagi instead, it's paid, but very much worth it for me!
