2025 was the first year since 2012 that the DOW underperformed the European market --- and not by a little, but by 20%. The only reason the DOW had a "good" year is that it is tied to the USD and the USD is so weak right now due to Trump.

2025 was the first year since 2012 the DOW underperformed the European Market (in USD, 15% vs 35%). US politics were historically bad for the economy, it's just that markets world wide did so well that the US still gained. And, the USD lost a lot of value. In EURO, the DOW only gained 2%.

The Dow is measured in USD, the European Market in EURO. If you measure the Dow in EURO, it gained just 2% over 2025.

And 2025 was the first year since 2012 that the US market underperformed the European market (15% vs 35%). Trump's 25 record on the stock market is abysmal, doing absolutely nothing would have been much better.

Add to it that the US stock market performed much much weaker than most other markets in 2025 (e.g. 15% vs 35% compared to Europe in USD). Most of the "gain" of the US market is due to the dollar losing so much value.

In his photos with Epstein he looks like he was enjoying himself. Doesn't change the fact that he is a miserable person.

So 3 trillion is created, flowing mainly into the pockets of the billionairs in the current system. How exactly does this reduce the US debt if you do not tax the billionairs?

I would make one exception for leaf blowers. It's ok to use them to blow the tear gas back at ICE goons... . And for this purpose, gas powered is more versatile than electric.

a few more subtleties that don't quite come out in the translation:
"wehren" is more than resistance, it's fighting back.
"umkehr" is more turn around or change back than just change.
"heisse leben" is not so much impassionate, but refers to the hot blood in their bodies, so more "alive lives"

conserfacist much?

They did not simulate anything. For them, simulate = ask Grok.

...or it is paraphrased from the musceteers: one for all, all for one, with a sinister meaning.

Note that this reflects Nazi behavior but not necessarily an original slogan. If you look for the German translation of this slogan "Einer von uns, alle von Euch", nothing appears to pop up. Maybe there is a German Nazi slogan that got translated into this, with some edits to make it sound better.

He ordered it in his mafia style, but he is unaware that it has actually happened. Plausible deniability without even bringing in the dementia and lying...

They will claim that the word "forcibly" only applies to "assaults", not to the other actions. Makes little sense, but that's there out.

I'd be careful with any damning evidence like this. It may be the same Russian playbook of manufactured outrageous evidence. Next they show it's manufactured and declare all real evidence as hoax by association.
December 23, 2025 at 3:29 PM
This would fit the pattern of Trump manufacturing damning evidence, then disproving it and then declaring that all the other evidence is therefore also manufactured/a hoax. Same thing they did with Russia Russia Russia

In cities, the calculation becomes completely different as volume is almost exclusively determined by throughput of intersections. If you change a whole city to 20mph limits, volume and travel times during peak travel times typically improve.
December 17, 2025 at 12:54 AM
You are starting from a flawed assumption. Lower speeds do not reduce the volume a road can handle. Higher speeds mean that you need to increase distances between cars. Studies show that a highway can handle the most volume at a speed of about 50mph.

But that is just so they can say they can't release the full files during an active investigation...

The bigger flaw though is the current system of first-by-the-post in every district. A "smart" gerrymander with perfect voter prediction could give all seats in a 51-49 state to the same party. The effects of this are far larger than any effect of different sized districts in the house.
October 25, 2025 at 6:56 PM
I completely agree with this. The smallest states are overrepresented in the house (and a lot worse in the senate). There will be rounding mistakes in any system (one could institute a national reservoir of district less representatives to make up for it), but one should keep them to a minimum.
