i forget that when i go back to traditional every few months i actually reinvigorate my art with this return to form. i also realized i actually draw too quickly and keep doing short hand stuff so much that i’ve forgotten my foundational skills. it’s important to remember u can never forget ur skill

it’s so weird i just thought evrryone started keeping a folder to hold everything at markets. in my made up market we would ban all plastic including charms

it actually makes me feel like a psycho killer when i see a booth of just plastic, like ik everyone is differnt but also i’m better than these wretches

i feel like actually insane watching people try to act like it’s “innovation” to make different forms of acrylic charms (shakers, stands etc.) when irl it’s just a short term gimmick feeding more into consumerism. You go to any convention and u are being assaulted with plastic i hate it here

i have just become a 100% hater of anime and anime art but literally i don’t understand why of all the mediums to create ur art u wanna turn it into a block of plastic just because it’s shiny oh my bruhhhh

this is a layered issue with a lot of nuances but can a bitch just complain about why everyone wants to make plastic art like i don’t fucking understand

how sad it is to believe the female nude form is exclusively sexual. this 11cm limestone figure is possibly the first artistic depiction of the human form and you don’t care.

i really hate seeing how popular it is for men to joke about them existing solely for sexual pleasure or call these figurines ugly/obese. Completely disregarding the fact it’s from a different time period and culture that doesn’t align with our modern standards of beauty.

there is not enough evidence to substantially confirm what the meaning of this figurine is. However i choose to believe in the popular theory that they were created as a mirror for women during the palaeolithic time (and created looking down upon itself explaining the lack of feet or face)

What a beautiful thing for something to withstand time and exist for us to study. Although we do not know her true history she is criticized and sexualized throughout time. You are made of limestone but i see you as a reflection of a woman untouched by modern sexism
