I agree to some extend, as research shows it ‘could’ lead to damaging impact. But your claims are way out of perspective, and without nuance are damaging as well.

old stuff about disciplining a toddler versus ‘she is hitting her children’ is just misrepresenting things. It is better not to spank, but apparently research shows 90% of parents admit to have done it once in a while.
