Let’s start with defending gender rights. Let’s start returning some compassion and flexibility into total abortion bans. Bathroom bans has empowered invasions of privacy in bathrooms and triggered unfounded and unfortunate mistakes that have caused great harm.

Unfortunately, it is rather difficult to deport a U.S. citizen. This effort is far better spent on other legal strategies that would bear greater fruit.

The time to lobby Congress is when this bill gets reintroduced next year. In this session, the bill is DOA in the Senate. This bill is far right Republican grandstanding, until next year if and when it gets reintroduced.
