its been a long time but some dear friends reminded me that making weird art is worth it.

i retried the face on this painting about seven times; it was never good enough for me, and when i was fully in despair, a friend suggested this edit.

the friend it’s a commission for loves it.

Like a decade and a half ago, i made a joke about combining all the candy holidays together, and thus Valloween was born.

Ever since then, i've drawn Valloween Cards for people as a way to celebrate this very silly idea. Here are a few i’ve made for my online friends:

Almost ready to shade! I stopped before doing the face because faces always make me nervous; so easy to zig when you need to zag and mess it up!

it’s been a while! i tried a new outlining technique with new supplies and i HATED IT.
