We all want to see an end to the bombing of Gaza. But for nearly two years the US has armed Israel, supplying the very bombs that have indiscriminately killed civilians. Trump’s America is not an honest broker for peace.

This 20-point plan may sound okay on paper, but without robust safeguards, genuine Palestinian agency, a credible path to sovereignty and an end to Israel’s illegal occupation, it risks being peace on imposed terms — not peace that genuinely advances Palestinian people.
