So I had a different interpretation of the opening scene…we see how performative the Hive is to the girl’s culture and how once she is one of them that all instantly disappears. I am pretty confident the show is using this scene to explain to the viewer that no, once you go in you are just gone.

It's a little weird, but we've also not seen much of the 12 besides the Indian woman a couple of times and Diabate a few more. We still haven't even officially met the non-English speakers.

I think Dems not taking any real action against SCOTUS for Dobbs made him (correctly) believe that there were no consequences to just slamming down on the gas
