That's not how it works, the supreme court has the right to change the judgement. But then parliement HAS to fix the law to make it compatible again.

It's explained in the back & forth letter on the council of europe.

And yes, there are already challenges.

Agreed, first it was brexit, then attack of trans people and immigrant as an excuse to leave the CoE.

I'm sorry to say i think things will get WAY worse in the UK before they get better.

I'm sadly pretty sure they will have their own trump years under farage. The UK is too far gone.

The UK is a complete anomaly in western europe.
December 2, 2025 at 9:06 PM
Have you been living under a rock for the last few years ?

Trans people have less legal right today in the UK than in Turkey or Belarus.
December 2, 2025 at 9:04 PM
Well, yes, if the UK wishes to stop following international human right law, they are free to leave.

But you can't have it both ways. Either the UK restore the basic human right of transgender people OR they leave the ECHR.
December 2, 2025 at 8:55 PM
See what ? The question is simple.

Does the UK hate trans people enough that they are willing to blow up the remaining of its relationship with europe and the baseline of the good friday agreement over that.

I would have said no a few years back but honestly, i'm not that sure anymore.
December 2, 2025 at 8:44 PM
Of course, the UK can also choose to do the same thing as Russia and leave the ECHR/Council of Europe.
December 2, 2025 at 8:14 PM
The UK is currently in breach of the European Convention of Human Right since the surpreme court reinterpreted the equality act to mean the opposite of what it originally meant.

The Council of Europe already wrote to the UK to ask them to fix the law : www.coe.int/en/web/commi...

Without going all the way to the ECHR, if they apply that new policy in NI as well, isnt it directly illegal due to the windsor framework applying the EU equality directive over there ?
December 2, 2025 at 7:40 PM
I do hate some parent of an affecte trans girl in NI sue as well, as exclusion would be 100% illegal there.

The future that can stop working at the slightest voltage variation after any random firmware update 😕 I'll keep using 2.5 sata thank you

I misunderstood and actually thought they had done the property window. It's the last of the "often used" ones for me.
October 28, 2025 at 4:51 PM
With those added, i'm finally good with dark theme, i think.

I mean, i feel we are now are the point that should have been the baseline version 10 years ago.

It did seem to work perfectly, and nothing at all seems to be broken so far, i guess canary is still "close enough" to beta / dev atm.
October 19, 2025 at 7:21 AM
They only "good thing" about that is that it would be Brexit 2.0, guillotining huge parts of the EU UK agreement & the good Friday agreement at the same time if they actually DO leave the CoE.

Stakes are much higher there; do they hate trans people this much.
October 15, 2025 at 2:25 AM
The article missed a few essentials things.

1/ It's not "hidden", there is a big button to launch it in the onedrive client.

2/There is copilot integration.

3/Said copilot integration has some function / toggle to also work with local files not on onedrive.

just realized i got the rest of them too

drive.google.com/file/d/1KPDM... . There you go (x86 version, not arm), i think it should work & update yours if you wish to try. View photo opens the new app, it works mostly, takes a while to sync the first time and sometime randomly kicks you out.
October 2, 2025 at 6:04 AM
Hmm, thinking about it, if i remember correctly, the link to the installer of the current installed client is somewhere in appdata in case windows need to reinstall, maybe i can find it that way.
October 2, 2025 at 5:52 AM
My onedrive client auto updated to it somehow on one of my devices (and one device only so far), it's a new bundle app with the new version of the client with the new icons.
