I’m guessing he influenced my own poetry, though mine may even be darker as it deals with depression and my struggles with bipolar 2 :(

But it seems increasingly like a lost art form now.

Thanks for that… I’ve never read it before. It has some haunting and beautiful phrases. It must mean a lot given you read it for your Dads funeral.

Do you read non-fiction also?

I have some amazing additions for non Fiction (and got some suggestions for my fiction reading list - thx).

Do you read poetry?

I could add some less ‘worthy’ books that are good reads, but not in the same class given the author list - Heller, Adams, Lee etc
