Having played more of the back half of SilkSong, I'd actually argue that ( beginning none withstanding ) SilkSong is an -easier- game than the first HK. Hornet has so many more defensive and offensive options available, I've been chewing through the late game bosses. + The map is easier to navigate.

To be clear if like, the tweaks as released were kind of where it stopped I would not really be up in arms, I'm just spooked about the pressure encouraging continued changes. Really really enjoying the game, still workin' on the alt ending so not done yet! Lot's of side stuff to do.

God fucking damnit they're already announcing balance tweaks to SilkSong, fuck right off I hate you whiners, this game's balance is so engaging. I hate this modern discourse of complain bombing games you feel entitled to playing and undermining the confidence of the developer's original intent.

Standalone plastic containers of grocery store candy are like, the fountain drinks of candy. Somehow it's just crispier and more satisfying than from a package.

Dogmatic politeness is how people fail upward beyond their competency. At some point, someone has to have the nads to say "actually you're not good / competent / smart / talented / skilled / tactful / ethical enough to be in your role" Being to nice has consequences.

It'd be really standout and memorable because Mario never does that. Like imagine it, Mario with a frown, maybe even crying. That'd be crazy- he's always happy y

I did enjoy Bananza quite a bit- But I do take issue with a number of it's design choices. Also Pauline ruins the vibe of the game so much. Took so much of the wind out of my sails.

It is absolutely wild that Unity's shader graph still doesn't support stencils. It's an extremely simple feature / implementation that would likely take a Unity engineer an hour or two to add, and people have been asking for it for like 8 years.

Wild they shipped Nightreign in this state, or maybe it's worth blaming Nvidia? Not sure. But it's worth noting that rolling back to drivers from october 2024 resolved all issues and the game runs perfectly for me now.

Really enjoyed my time with Look Outside. ( new Devolver published RPG ) I think it's really well written and kind of overwhelmingly bursting with random and optional content, almost no two people will have quite the same playthrough. Looking forward to watching someone else play it, now.

Bravely Default rules in about equal parts that it sucks ass. Played it years ago and have equal parts fond and bad memories of it- And was like "I never want to play something like this again", so never played the sequels.

I encourage more people to play Wolfrush- I really enjoyed it.
