Woolite is not actually very gentle-Eucalan and Soak are much better choices to keep on hand for sweaters. Your silk/cashmere blend is also a good candidate for dyeing with KoolAde or food colouring, which is a lot easier than fabric dye

May I be pedantic and point out that that is *not* a Cowichan sweater? It’s not knit by a member of the Cowichan tribe, and it’s not the same style. I would call that a Mary Maxim sweater. It’s still cool, but it’s not a Cowichan sweater!
