Agreed. I feel bad about SNAP and I read that the majority of beneficiaries are employed. Who is employing them and what is preventing these employers from paying a living wage? And what are these employers paying in taxes? There seems to be way too many corporate loopholes.

Yes! My son rows on the intracoastal, and when I picked him up yesterday, neither of us could believe how high the tide was. There is an area at the park with a small dock that people use for fishing, and it was completely underwater.

We got one of those - after the first use, we turned it off and stored it in a closet. Around 4 am, we heard an ominous beeping. We checked the fire alarm, the smoke detector… the karaoke machine somehow had turned on and was beeping every couple of minutes… just to mess with us!
