The dem party will be fine. We are presently on a trajectory to win next year. I’m not panicking and blaming my own party. Thats counterproductive. Election cycle trends change and right now we look good. Midterms always change parties in power. Always.

They won over public opinion and showed the public what scum republicans are by starving kids. All of this helps strengthen our coalition for next years elections. And we showed moderates and independents that we are adults who care about government. How much longer did YOU want to starve kids?

I always thought the shutdown was minimal strategically. You folks on these platforms forced them to do it. When you are willing to do without two months of being paid and have hungry kids, then let know your perspective.

They didn’t cave. They accomplished most of what they set out to do. You struggle for food and you go without a paycheck for two months and tell me how you feel then 🙄
