Retired NHS Nurse/Midwife. Believe in Social equity. Cumbrian born and bred. Rather talkative. 🤦‍♀️
It’s free in Scotland. My 12 year old uses his a lot and no he’s not got an ASBO. I think it’s a great way to develop independence.

I’m a pensioner… don’t tar us all with the same brush. I have grandchildren to grow up in this world. My parents grew up during the depression. They both were in the forces in WW2. I grew up in poverty, dad working 3 jobs. I won’t forget the toll poverty and poor environment takes. Ever.

As a communion steward we have home baked bread and non alcoholic wine. Members of our church take the crusts of bread for their chickens. All Gods creatures got a place in the choir.

That’s the way it should be.

Many of our local roads have had their limit reduced. Unfortunately the drivers don’t always stick to it. Yes, I am a driver.

Safety is my concern. Cycle paths are few. Rural areas have none.

My pensioner neighbour can afford to run his most of the time. Just live in one room. He’s not a wealthy pensioner by any stretch, but canny with money. He’s 89.

I’ve an SUV. I’ve bad arthritis and getting in any other type of vehicle is very difficult…getting out is even worse, but even bus steps are hard to negotiate. I’d much rather have a smaller car, but can’t.

Since when did God need saving??
He saves us…if we let him.

Absolutely agree. We know nothing really about the incident. And at the end of the day he had family who will be grieving.

I’ve just booked my next flu and Covid vaccines. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I think one of the problems is that few decent bungalows are built. I want to die rooms not downsize the size of the rooms. More bungalows would facilitate the movement of older people from bigger houses. Perfect for families.

We have an amazing Evri delivery guy. Prompt, friendly and just a little bit cheeky. We’ve never had a problem with Evri.
