I'm a big of a fan of the Sleepwalkers and the sheep whom I've thought a little abt over the yrs, it's decidedly my first favourite kids book as an adult. I'd love another copy but don't suppose there are any? Fwiw I've easily bought over a dozen this decade from wherever I could source cheap (used)

This drives me absolutely insane - race is fake, race is imposed on people to justify their degradation - using 19th century racial typologies isn’t going to reveal any more fundamental truth about genocide

All of this is possible within recursive, relational, survivorship-based systems:
Reason as emergent coherence,
Autonomy as recursive participation,
Dignity as contradiction survived with integrity.

We actually need:
A way to speak across difference without collapsing it,
A foundation for ethics that doesn’t require purity,
A model of justice that holds contradiction without erasing history,
A concept of personhood that arises from relation, not category.
