Another first for our Sangha! Gessho Sensei has taken a big step and made a deep commitment when, on Saturday, she took vows in a Shukke Tokudo ceremony to become a Zen priest with 3 other candidates from Red Rose Sangha and Clare Sangha.

Another first for our Sangha! Gessho Sensei has taken a big step and made a deep commitment when, on Saturday, she took vows in a Shukke Tokudo ceremony to become a Zen priest with 3 other candidates from Red Rose Sangha and Clare Sangha.
Our gathering over tea is in honor of our founder Sister Barbara Shoshin Craig, RSM, whose order The Sisters of Mercy was founded by Catherine McCauley who encouraged members of the order to have a "comfortable cup of tea" in her memory. #sistersofmercy #tea
On Sunday, March 16 from 2-4pm, our sangha will gather over a cup of tea and hand-sew hearts as a reminder to be a compassionate presence. Supplies provided or you can bring your own.
