finding something i enjoy to get me active feels like cheating, i always thought exercise is supposed to be miserable and shameful when really it’s just like being a kid and running around for the sake of fun

update:

after biking my heart feels a lot lighter, like there was a lot of buildup of bitterness and now i’ve released it. and now that my legs are jelly, i have a good excuse to rest to the remainder of the day

im gonna disagree, i think the only difference is that the media here doesn’t focus on the negative shit as much. people are protesting in the streets about the stuff going on in america, that’s goodness. your kid is good, probably. there’s a lot of hope, it’s just not obvious right now

it’s only because everyone is so disconnected it seems like ppl suck, but it’s not like that actually. ive witnessed so many kind people in small communities (like rural austria) that it’s really changed my view - we’ve had so many kind people help us it’s crazy

- some of my friends are there

cons:
- i never see my friends posts and vise versa
- have to pay to win
- lines billionaires pockets
- no data privacy
- art/pics are put into ai
- terrible bot issue
- platforms both don’t care if you spout hatespeech and encourage ragebait
