Laguz needs all the help he can get this season, which sometimes requires offering new boons to extend existing pacts. Although in Zed's case, I think the main boon is getting to be Laguz's left hand toy, and all the joy of service that provides~

They are wearing similar but customized combat suits with multple materials and gas masks. The gas masks are connected by hoses attached to Max's combat suit.
