From my experience, artists aren't too fond of being told to replicate something 1:1 but rather knowing the general idea and concept alongside reference for the environment and/or character

As Leon is misunderstanding what a chainsaw meant is for and tries to cut down a zombie with it, the HUD changes from chainsaw to his pistol and axe in the middle of the animation. I guess maybe the chainsaw is a one-use attack? #ResidentEvilRequiem

I tested in RE4R and I'm not sure if that setting does anything in that game. I couldn't see a difference

I'm happy to see my mod be mentioned!

I've been doing even more stuff related to the POP classics. It's taking a long time, but I'm currently reverse-engineering and re-writing the codebase for POP2. I'll make my code open-source when done and include various optional improvements to the game

Switch 2 version of #ResidentEvilRequiem was just announced. I think I would recommend this version for people who want additional horror in the game.

I'm checking out the "Black Art of 3D Game Programming" book from the 90's. It does a great job explaining how to do 3D in software (and a ton of other stuff).

One piece of text is funny to read now. FPS expectations were a bit lower back then:

Looks like #ResidentEvil Survival Unit is a clone of State of Survival

Which is extra funny considering State of Survival had a collab event with Capcom where they added Resident Evil characters
