I understand not wanting to vote for dems, but my entire point is that in a two party system not voting for them directly benefits Trump, who no one contests would do a worse job of handling the Palestinian genocide (among so many other things. See also: fascism)

Yeah, again I'm from compulsory voting country so its much easier for us to personally do. It's pretty fucked how hard they make it for you to vote.

I want to be clear, I'm not in favour of the dems supporting genocide. But I wholeheartedly disagree with not voting. Everyone who can vote has a civic duty to vote. To use what little power you have to make the best possible country you can. Even if it's just to limit damage.

Yeah. I'll be honest, I picked it over his Palestine-Israel policies because it made my point easier to fit within the word limit. It's the same parallel though. When your options are 'bad' or 'worse' there's nothing noble about leaving the choice to others. For real, look where that's left you all.

When Biden was elected he had a sexual misconduct allegation against him and Trump had like 27. The best choice there was as obvious as it was tragic.

I don't know. Maybe it's because I come from Australia where voting is compulsory, but I can't understand this. Not voting is just voting for the status quo.

Learning to break out of archetypes can be hard but there's so many opportunities to be had from it. The paladin that doesn't approve of the necromancer but loves them too much to do what they're supposed to? That's some juicy roleplay stuff right there! And it doesn't threaten party stability.
