This one is also telling, a lot of investors are looking at the financial structures at work and either biding their time, or actively betting on their failure.

While investors (may) profit, the businesses and the economies they support will be in the blast radius/fallout zone.

Michael Burry, the investor whose prescient short position against subprime mortgage securities made him famous through “The Big Short,” has established positions totaling 1.1 billion dollars betting against Al infrastructure stocks. His thesis centers on what he calls depreciation fraud: the extension of useful asset lives to artificially inflate reported earnings. GPU architectures become obsolete within 12 to 24 months. Data center infrastructure designed for current chips cannot accommodate next-generation heat loads without substantial retrofitting. Yet companies depreciate Al infrastructure over 10 to 15 years.

AI is being aggressively adopted by executives, who see a quick ROI for the investment.

(Not mentioned: The effects on the balance sheets for subsequent years. Nor any issues that have cropped up)
Enterprise adoption of AI is not speculative. Survey data from PYMNTS and OpenAI shows that CFO-reported “very positive ROI” from generative Al jumped from 27 percent to 85 percent between 2024 and 2025. Google Cloud's 2025 study found that 74 percent of executives achieved positive return on investment within the first year of Al deployment. Enterprise Al spending surged from 1.7 billion to 37 billion dollars since 2023. These are not projections. They are reported results.

Those LLM chatbot interactions?

People are stealing em, whole cloth, via browser extensions/plugins.

As a result, all interaction between the browser and the Al bots is routed not by the legitimate browser APIs. But through the executor script. The extensions eventually compress the data and send it to endpoints belonging to the extension maker.

Someone really needs to make a lid for a casserole dish that includes a bullseye level.

Even with a sheet pan, there's always the worry: "is this level?" "...am I going to be wearing this soon?"

Their main effect is to increase feed efficiency; however, they may also improve growth rates of ruminants on high-roughage diets. Administration of monensin to cattle results in 2%-10% improvement in liveweight gain (in animals on a high-roughage diet), 3%-7% increase in feed conversion efficiency, and up to a 6% decrease in food consumption. Initially, monensin was used only as a feed additive for ruminants fed in confinement; however, its use has been extended to grazing animals as well. Other ionophores generally have similar effects.

Every time I see stories involving ICE, they seem to get closer to this image from Hellsing.

Sadly, they seem to be thinking something similar as ICE acts like they are in a video game or movie.
