A tumblr community inspired me to write about a moment in my chronically ill life, when drowning in loss and longing. I couldn't sleep at all until this broken piece of my soul was crafted into the following poem: It has been months since this low point. I am doing much better at this point. I sincerely hope, however, that this helps someone to feel less alone.
