@rye_books: Just off the high street in East Dulwich, Rye Books is a cosy little spot that serves coffee alongside an excellent selection of books. There’s also a lovely market on Saturdays if you want to make a day of it!

I found myself flipping the pages, curious to learn more. As the first of seven books, I’m excited to read the next parts to find out whether Tara Selter can finally escape her time-bound confines.

Balle is uninterested in the reasons behind why this is happening to Tara Selter, instead focusing on her feelings about being stuck in time. The delicate balance between science fiction and literary fiction makes this book an incredibly engaging read.

Every morning, she wakes up to the 18th of November, forced to relive the same day over and over. On some days, she goes to find her husband, Thomas, but mostly she prefers to hide from him, spending the day alone.
