Heroes of the East is like a wikipedia for martial arts. The movie introduces and depicts the Japanese and Chinese styles with a very simple "challenge" storyline. The young Gordon Liu (Pai Mei in Kill Bill) shines in this Hong Kong prod. and it would be unfair to give 3,5 for this great fun. 4/5

Common Side Effects focuses on the pharmaceutical industry with some hippie fantasy. Comparing to Primal and Scavengers Reign, it lacks the sympathetic characters/charisma and hallucinations are reminding planet Vesta a lot, however the light approach to a very controversial subject works well.
