tbh I think I would be way more interesting to name the teams, have them show up, then literally have a lottery ball-style selection right before they’re due to compete.

Not sure. There's this article, but doesn't mention much else aside from the severity of the injury is unknown at this time but he was carried off via stretcher by the medics.

It was during the 3rd rotation. It happened right after Türkiye's Altan Doğan did his vault. As he was walking off, someone yelled and you could see him look back and wince. The announcer made mention to it, but they went next to Ukraine's Ihor Dyshuk on PBars next.
