Super Typhoon Haiyan is considered one of the strongest tropical cyclones of all time. With winds likely well above the official 195 mph estimate, it slammed into the Philippines as one of the strongest landfalling hurricanes ever observed. It’s pressure? Likely in the 880’s or possibly even lower.
