The First lounge was blissfully quiet this morning. I do like traveling on 24th after the mad rush of the last few days

I know. It's terrible. And it took MONTHS to get such a poor design!

Someone applied some design preferences without thinking about the practicality and the branding. Given that the app doesn't work properly (🤦) good to have a back up solution

Then I took the train 133 for the 30 minute ride to Vientiane
The cost of this trip:
120 baht Nong Khai - Vientiane (2nd class seat)
2350 baht Vientiane - Nong Khai (1st class cabin, solo)
So about £58... Similar to a decent hotel

A better option for me than the train 133 which leaves an hour later from Bangkok (no first class, more basic carriages)
I arrived in Nong Khai at 6:30am after decent sleep
Coffee at the station, stretched my legs and had the exit stamp in my passport 🇱🇦🇹🇭

Bought a train ticket while waiting for passport control and heading into town
