I found in interesting how VFR pilots vs IFR pilots ask for what they want. From student pilot-commercial, we were always scared to ask for anything. But as a big plane pilot, I’d go back and tell my students - TELL ATC what you’re seeing (icing, turbulence, etc! They will help & they want to know!
