Right now, the MMO is consulting on banning bottom trawling in offshore Marine Protected Areas.

If adopted, protection here could rise from just 3% to over 20% – a huge win for marine life!

We had a lovely time at the seaweed pressing workshop last weekend 🌊🌿 A few of us from the committee headed to the Princess Pavilion Café to try out the seaweed press and get a bit creative!

We only took a small amount from the strandline + returned anything we didn’t use.

Such a wholesome day.
